My Personal Collection: DJ Edition

Electronic music is one of my greatest loves, I get a feeling of pure euphoria anytime I listen back through any of these albums. Of course, there is an endless selection of some of the finest DJ's greatest works out there, but there is also many underrated and local hometown DJ's that you may be a fan of more so than the big-timers. This collection is simply a mere insight into some of my favourite discs.

I want to start with Axwell-Ingrosso, these guys are the best things since Swedish House Mafia went their separate ways (yet kinda stayed together minus Steve Angello, if you catch my drift). These guys give me inspiration to be more myself and to embrace positivity in my life through music. Similarly, Galantis is also a breath of fresh air, of never-ending creativity and we are here for it!

That brings us to the OG's Afrojack, Calvin Harris and David Guetta, each as groundbreaking as the other, each constantly inspiring new generations of musicians. I wouldn't exactly say they made the electronic scene, but they are definitely upholding it and are strong contributors to its progress in defining sub-genres as mainstream music.

Chase and Status brings the grime to electronic music, I love how their music is underground vibes without being classed as underground and they are our very own (as in they're a UK duo). This just goes to show that anything is possible in this life, and they just so happen to embrace that through music!
