We previously featured FezzBeats in another blog earlier this year and were only all too excited to hear about their latest release ‘On My Mind’ a pop hit with soft trance-like vocals. Check out the Spotify link below!
On My Mind is a repetitive beat that gets stuck in your head, but you enjoy it, and you want to hear more. Interestingly this is the second track Dippity and FezzBeats have produced together, and they hope to have more project opportunities to work together on in the future.
FezzBeats who is a Glasgow (UK) based artist is definitely a music producer to watch this year, the talent and determination of creating hit-worthy tracks is instantly recognisable. Where there is a challenge, Fezz seems to want to concur it, especially with this project which was produced without the two artists ever meeting. Dippity is a unique artist based in Nevada (US) who’s love of literature and music can be heard through this song.
As someone who lived just outside of Glasgow for a short while and still has strong ties to Scotland and its music scene, it is inspiring to see someone independent like FezzBeats getting out there as an artist/producer, making music for themselves and others but also sourcing feature artists that have outstanding voices but are yet ‘unknown’. As for Dippity, so much talent and still so young - it is so rare these days to have such a sweet yet smooth harmonic-like voice and this is just the start of what hopefully will be many great things for her. The music industry appears a lot harder in America than here in the UK and sometimes it can be unfair, so much so that great singers and songwriters go under the radar for years before they’re appreciated for the value their voice and their songs are worth.
