James Newman Deserved Better (and why Eurovison is a fix)

On Saturday night we as a nation watched the award winning artist James Newman (yes the brother of John) become a winner even as a loser. James played off losing the Eurovisions with such big energy that it was almost like he won. Thankfully I don't think the nil votes was anything personal, although I'm sure it feels that way for James - who has wrote numerous of your favourite hit singles and has years of experience within the music industry both as a lead artist and songwriter but also as a featured artist.
James is talented, the UK is a pain in the Euros backside. It was not personal, despite what Piers Morgan says, who by the way is talentless. Really though who honestly expected UK to do well after the fiasco that is Brexit? We don't want to be in the EU but we do, but we don't - Boris should be the one the tabloids are writing about today not James. I don't blame the other EU countries for not voting, I commend them, I wouldn't have voted for us either.
What I do think should happen is for audiences to invest some time in listening to any song James Newman has contributed to and decide for yourselves if that is an artist you want to support. In my opinion he is destined for great things, the Eurovison result is not a failing representing him, it is a failing representing the UK.
BIG UP JAMES NEWMAN! LOVE FROM ALL AT THE.MUSICBLOG
